SYNOPSIS:  

The film follows two families who, through a twist of circumstances, find themselves caught in a whirlwind of events that threatens to turn from a family comedy into an international scandal. On the day of a major birthday celebration, a successful Croatian businessman learns that he is on the verge of bankruptcy, while news from London arrives at the same time and further shakes both sides: his daughter is pregnant, and the father of the child is the son of Serbia’s foreign minister. In the style of a full-blooded Balkan comedy that combines humour, warmth and tension, “The Wedding” follows the story of two families whose relationship constantly dances between a warm family tale and an international incident.
