SYNOPSIS:  

“Sport Heart” is a warm comedy about the clash of two seemingly incompatible worlds, as young Maja decides to introduce her fiancé Pavle, a sophisticated Belgrader, to her father Macura, the charismatic owner of a roast-meat restaurant in Zemun. While Maja tries to “polish” her father for the crucial family lunch, and Pavle balances between love and the influence of his domineering mother, a generational gap and deep-rooted prejudices come to the surface. Through a series of comic misunderstandings, the story reminds us that honesty and acceptance are the only path toward a shared future, however different our roots may be.
