SYNOPSIS:  

“WANDERLUST” is a Serbian film directed by Nenad Pavlović, based on the novel of the same name by painter, filmmaker and writer Mića Popović. Shot in black and white, it is stylized in the manner of the Yugoslav Black Wave. The film is a poetic and existentialist story about a young artist, Toma, who sets out on a journey down the river, trying to escape a totalitarian society and the personal tragedy that has struck his family. During the mystical journey, he faces a series of challenges that change his view of the world, art and his own identity.
