SYNOPSIS:  

Inspired by a true event, “THE HOME RESORT” is a dramedy about the Škrbić family, who are completely obsessed with summer holidays and the idea that a vacation must not be missed, no matter what. Through a series of social circumstances, they find themselves in an unusual summer adventure that changes their relationships and the way they see themselves. Driven by the idea of the “mandatory” holiday, the Škrbić family enters a series of absurd and humorous situations which, instead of tearing them apart, become a reason for them to understand one another better and reconnect. “THE HOME RESORT” tells a story about family togetherness, about how easily it can be lost in the modern, fast-paced world, and how, through unexpected circumstances, it can be found again.
